How can I tell which affiliate link earned a commission?
October 26, 2026
Add a SubID to every link, a small label the affiliate network carries into your earnings report, then match the report's rows back to your links. Briklyst adds the SubID for you on Amazon, LTK, Impact, ShareASale, CJ, Rakuten and Awin, and matches the report when you upload it.
A network report tells you what sold. It does not tell you which of your links sold it, unless each link carried its own label.
Every major network has a slot for that label, each with its own name (ascsubtag on Amazon, subid on LTK, clickref on Awin, and so on). Fill it with a different value per link and the report becomes a per-link earnings list.
Once you have it, compare earnings with clicks. A link with fewer taps and more sales deserves the top spot on your page.
