How do I put affiliate links in my Instagram bio?

October 26, 2026

Instagram lets you add up to five links to your bio, but only the first shows before people tap for more, so most creators put one link page there and list every affiliate link on it. Mark each one as an affiliate link so clicks and commissions are tracked per product.

Instagram does not make captions or comments clickable, so the bio is the main place a link can go. A link page solves the space problem: one link in your bio, and as many products as you want behind it.

To make it earn:

  1. Paste the affiliate link exactly as the network gave it to you, with your own tags intact.
  2. Put the product from your newest post at the top, with a photo.
  3. Add a short disclosure that you earn from these links.
  4. Say in the caption or story where the link is. "Link in bio, it is the first card" gets more taps than "link in bio."

On Briklyst, marking a link as affiliate adds a tracking code so your earnings report can be matched back to it. It never changes where the visitor lands or who gets paid.
