Privacy Policy
Effective: August 6, 2026
This policy explains what Briklyst LLC ("Briklyst," "we," "us") collects, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what we need to run your storefront and count your clicks, we don't sell your data, and we deliberately avoid tracking storefront visitors as individuals.
1. Information we collect
From creators and agencies (account holders):
- Account details: email address, name, and profile photo if you add one (or if you sign in with Google, the name/email/photo Google shares).
- Storefront content: the text, links, images, and settings you add, including anything an agency adds on your behalf.
- Brand voice inputs you provide (vibe words, writing samples) used to generate copy in your voice.
- Usage records: AI generation counts and basic operational logs.
From storefront visitors:
- When a visitor views a storefront or clicks a link, we record the event with a coarse device type (mobile/desktop/tablet), country, referring site, and timestamp.
- We do not store visitors' IP addresses or full browser fingerprints in our analytics, and we don't use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Clicks are counted, people are not profiled.
2. How we use information
- To operate the Service: hosting storefronts, logging you in, sending magic-link and claim emails, and showing you your click statistics.
- To generate content you request: when you paste a link, we fetch that page and send its product details (and your brand voice inputs) to our AI provider to draft your card copy.
- To attribute clicks: tracked links may carry an identifier (SubID) so affiliate networks can report your commissions back to your links.
- To keep the Service safe: abuse prevention, rate limiting, and debugging.
3. Who we share it with
We don't sell personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run Briklyst, under their own privacy commitments:
- Vercel (hosting) and Neon (database)
- Amazon Web Services (image storage)
- Twilio SendGrid (transactional email)
- Anthropic (AI copy generation; content you submit for generation is processed to provide the feature)
- Google (only if you choose Google sign-in)
If a storefront is managed by an agency through our partner integration (Inexra), that agency can see the storefront's content and click statistics, which is the point of the integration.
We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of Briklyst, our users, or the public.
4. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies only: a session cookie to keep you logged in, and short-lived cookies for agency editing sessions. Public storefront pages don't set tracking cookies on visitors.
5. Retention
- Raw click and view events are kept for 90 days, then reduced to daily totals (which contain no visitor-level data).
- Account and storefront data is kept while your account is active.
- If you delete your account, we delete your storefront and personal information within 30 days, except records we need to keep for legal, security, or accounting reasons.
6. Your choices and rights
- You can edit or delete your storefront content anytime in the studio.
- You can request a copy or deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@briklyst.com. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR or California under CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and we honor those requests.
- Creators can remove an agency's management access at any time in storefront settings.
7. Children
Briklyst is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS) everywhere, passwordless sign-in, scoped access tokens for agency sessions, and least-privilege credentials for our infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we'll notify you as required by law.
9. Changes
We'll post any changes to this policy here and update the effective date. For material changes, we'll notify account holders by email or in-app notice.
