Does the order of links on my link in bio page affect how many clicks I get?
October 27, 2026
Yes. Links near the top get seen by every visitor who opens the page, while links further down only get seen by people who scroll, so moving your most important link to the top is often the single biggest change you can make to its click count.
Think about what actually happens when someone taps your bio link. They land on the page, glance at whatever is on screen without scrolling, and either tap something or leave. Anything below that first screen only gets a chance with the smaller group of people who keep scrolling, which is almost always fewer people than the number who opened the page in the first place.
That's why a link that's genuinely useful can still get almost no clicks if it's buried under older posts, and why a weaker link can look like it's performing well just because it happens to sit at the top. Before changing a link's label or deciding it isn't working, check where it sits on the page first. If you have more than one thing worth featuring, pick the single most important one for right now and put it first, then group everything else below under a heading so it's still findable without competing for the same attention.
